A Prayer for Provision

For the bill, the fear, the sleepless night.

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

✦ The Prayer ✦

Father who provides, You know the numbers on my table tonight. The bill I do not know how to pay. The month I do not know how to close. The fear I carry when everyone else is asleep. I am not asking for wealth. I am asking for provision — enough for today, and the peace to trust You for tomorrow. Open doors I cannot open. Multiply what is small. And in the meantime, give me quiet where my worry has been loud. You have never once forgotten Your own. Amen.

Why this prayer, today.

There is a specific weight to financial worry. It follows you into the shower. It sits down with you at dinner. It wakes you at 4 AM.

Scripture does not promise us wealth. It promises us provision — enough for today, always from a Father who has never once forgotten His own.

Whatever number is on the paper tonight, God is aware of it. And He is already at work.
