A Prayer for a Troubled Heart

✦ The Prayer ✦

Prince of Peace, my mind is loud tonight. The thoughts I cannot stop. The scenarios I keep replaying. The worry that wakes me before the sun. Quiet the noise, Lord. Not with answers I have not yet earned, but with the peace only You can give — peace that does not depend on circumstances, peace that steadies me in the middle of the storm. Teach me to trust You with what I cannot control. Amen.

Why this prayer, today.

Peace, in Scripture, is not the absence of trouble. It is the presence of God inside the trouble.

Jesus offered peace on the night before He suffered — not because everything was fine, but because He knew where His Father was, and trusted Him fully.

You are allowed to receive that same peace today. Not tomorrow, when the problem is solved. Today, in the middle of it.
